    Profile settings

    Your profile is your identity in 42min — it's what shows on your booking page and what 42min uses for times and language. Edit it from Profile (the Personal tab).

    What you can set

    • First and last name — shown on your public booking page and in confirmation emails.
    • Email — your login and where account email goes.
    • Public URL slug (username) — the <username> in 42min.us/<username>. It's globally unique. Changing it changes your booking-page URL (old links break), so pick one and keep it.
    • Time zone — used for dashboard times and as a sensible default; note that a schedule has its own time zone, which is what actually controls slot calculation.
    • Language — your interface language — see Languages.
    • Avatar — your photo, shown on your booking page; you can crop it on upload.
    Profile → Personal — name, email, public URL slug, time zone, language, and photo.

    How to do it

    1. Open Profile → Personal.
    2. Update what you need; save.
    3. For your password and sign-in, switch to the Security tab — see Password and sign-in. To delete your account, the Danger Zone tab — see Deleting your account.

    Notifications

    The Notifications tab controls the account email 42min sends to you about meetings you host. There's one setting:

    • My meetings created, rescheduled, or canceled — on by default. While it's on, you get an email whenever a meeting you host is booked, rescheduled, or canceled. Turn it off and 42min stops sending you those three emails.

    This only affects email to you, the host. Your invitees and any guests still get their own confirmation, reschedule, and cancellation emails as usual. The setting is per person, so on a round-robin event type each host controls their own notifications — turning yours off doesn't change anything for the others.

    The toggle saves the moment you click it; there's no separate save button.

    Profile → Notifications — opt out of the host emails for meetings you create, reschedule, or cancel.

    Common pitfalls

    • Changed your slug, broke your links. Any link or signature using the old 42min.us/<old-slug> stops working. Settle on a slug early.
    • Wrong time zone everywhere. Fix it here and check your schedule's time zone — they're separate, and the schedule's is the one that moves your slots.
    • Avatar too big / odd crop. Use a roughly square image and crop it on upload.
